Director of Tennis
Tim is a graduate of the Ferris State University Professional Tennis Management Program. He is USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) certified and was the director of Junior Tennis at New Canaan, CT. He worked as the Head Professional at Hunt Club in Westport, CT. Since September of 2000, Tim has been the head tennis pro at West Hills and became Director of Tennis in the fall of 2005.

Jody played four years of collegiate tennis and graduated from Ferris State's professional tennis management program. She is USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) and USTA (United States Tennis Association) Sports Science certified. She coaches adult travel teams and enjoys teaching juniors and adults.

Bill was appointed the director of Western Michigan Competitive Training Center. He was one of 100 coaches chosen nationwide by the USTA (United States Tennis Association) to attend the premier conference for competitive junior coaches. He was the director of competitive tennis at Court One in Okemos before coming to West Hills Athletic Club. He holds a masters degree in sports psychology and worked exclusively with adult and junior competitive tournament players at Ivan Lendl's tennis club.

USPTA Certified, 35 years of teaching experience, worked with state champions, nationally ranked and college players. National ranking of top 20 in the 35’s and still plays competitively. Enjoys teaching all levels of play, from kids to adults.

Linda Spann is returning to the Kalamazoo area with over 35 years in the tennis industry. Her teaching experience covers every aspect of delivering tennis to all ages and ability levels, in both the competitive and recreational settings. With an extensive competitive background which includes a top 10 national doubles ranking as a junior, and a International Junior Orange Bowl doubles title, she continues to enjoy competitive play especially mixed doubles. Linda also has an extensive career in management, retail, and volunteering with local, district, sectional, and national USTA division projects, committees, tournaments, and non-profit organizations. Linda is a past president of the Western Michigan Tennis Association, a USTA Umpire, and a member of the Head/Penn Advisory Team for 25 years. She currently serves as the USTA/Midwest Section Adult League Chair. Linda is immediately available for private, semi-private and small group instruction.
